Meet Your Teacher

Alyssa Lahoda, violin, viola, cello, is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College, where she received degrees in Violin Performance, Music Theory, and Music Business. She has devoted the past 7 years to teaching students and leading emsebles at Twin Valley Elementary School, Orchestra Zone, Berks Summer Strings, and LVS Summer Music Camps. She has developed a passion for health and wellness of musicians and has led several Performance Anxiety workshops for International Intermuse Music Institute, Berks Youth Chorus, and the LVC music department. In addition to her teaching experience, Alyssa is an active performer, currently with Berks Sinfonietta, Cherrywood Strings, and Vivace Live. She focuses her teaching on refining technique, creativity, expression, physical wellness, overcoming anxiety, and efficient practice methods. ​
