Shana McCoy, voice, piano, theater, acting coach, is thrilled to be a part of the Fox Music family! Music has always been a huge part of her life, whether it be playing piano at church, acting on the musical stage, or singing in the basement with her grandpa. In 2006, Shana graduated from Neosho County Community College, where she majored in music and took private voice lessons with the talented David Smith. Two years later she earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Theatre while continuing to study music under Andrew Campbell. While living in Kansas City, she taught music, acting, and directed theatre productions at Christian Youth Theatre and Whitefield Academy with students ranging from 5 to 18 years of age. She is excited to partner with students and help them reach their goals in the fine arts.
Mark Roberts, drums, has played drums in a variety of musical situations covering a wide range of styles. Although focusing primarily on rock and jazz stylings, he also has experience playing in orchestral and marching band settings. Mark has taken what he's learned from years of study with local teachers, clinics, and a semester at Berklee College of Music and combined those ideas into a playing and teaching style that focuses on philosophy, creativity, and technique.
Dennis Yurchenko, piano, music theory, audio technology, has been refining his music craft for nearly two decades. While primarily focusing on classical piano teachings and techniques, he incorporates modern ideas and applications to facilitate an effective, engaging, and rewarding lesson environment. His passion for music has landed him in numerous musical applications including, creating an online audio mastering platform, live audio mixing, and recording.
